Experiencing rapid urbanization, Vietnam is witnessing changes in its landscapes with the development of new urban areas (KDTM) that promote a standardized and privatized form of housing, idealizing a more "modern", Western-style way of life.
Spreading over agricultural land, these new areas raise questions about the transformation and standardization of urban landscapes, as well as their integration into the traditional urban fabric.
